Welcome to Villa Allegria in Monfumo

What to expect

The home was built in 2007 and is of exceptional quality. There were special provisions made for soundproofing and insulation and they used very high quality materials, such as hard wood floors upstairs, terra cotta tile downstairs and solid wood doors, railings and window frames. There are currently no neighbors living on either side, so there is additional quiet and privacy. I am the first owner of this home and have equipped it to live in myself, so it is full of conveniences and special features. It is fully furnished, including linens, towels, plates, dishes, even olive oil, salt, pepper, etc! There are 2 full baths, one with bathtub and one with glass-enclosed shower, both with bidet and heated towel racks. A cleaning service is available however often you like during your stay for a fee of approx EUR 20/cleaning.

There is a small front yard and patio which is large enough for outdoor dining, and includes a table and chairs. Upstairs in front there is a large balcony, and in the back of the house there is a back terrace, and two tiny balconies (a total of 5 accesses to the outside!) The front and back yards are watered with an automatic system. The back garden is full of herbs and flowering plants and I have chosen them so that at almost all times of the year at least one variety is in bloom, and you can enjoy this from the kitchen window or back patio.

Parking is available in the the private garage below the house. There is an automatic door opener and a motion-sening light that turns on and off by itself to welcome you to a lit garage.

Explore the cobblestone streets and pop in to the many unique boutiques. Asolo also has a famous antiquities market every 2nd Sunday of the month (which is where my beautiful dining room table was purchased). This relaxing environment has inspired authors such as Ernest Hemmingway, Robert Browning, and Pietro Bembo. There are many great eateries in Asolo including fine dining at restaurants like , 200, Bistrot, Ristorante Al Sole and Due Mori. For more informal dining there is Osteria alla Rocca, Osteria alla Giaretta, Caffe' Centrale, Bruschetteria Epoca, Caffe' Commercio Caffe' Municipio, Bar Castello and Corte del Re. No town would be complete without a pizzeria, and Asolo hosts a regional favorite, Pizzeria Cornaro.

Many world-renowned classical musicians come to Asolo to perform at various times during the year. Learn more at www.asolomusica.com. Moreover, every autumn Asolo hosts an Art Film Festival.
